ABOUT THE BUSINESS DEPARTMENT

The Business Services department ensures the District complies with state laws and regulations regarding financial accountability and reporting. Business Services supports school sites and provides training on financial policies and procedures. We strive to provide excellent service to all of our staff and customers. The business services department develops and monitors the district's budget, finances, payroll, accounting, inventory control, and purchasing. We proudly serve the Middletown Unified School District by providing all non-instructional services for students, staff, and community.

 

The Business Services Department is responsible for finance and budget, payroll, employee benefits, accounts payable, accounts receivable, student attendance, Associated Student Body, purchasing, and inventory management.

Developer Fees:

Steps:

  1. Complete the Developer Fee Application
  2. Bring completed application, county permit application and project drawings, to the District Office (20932 Big Canyon Road, Middletown) for review.
  3. Checks can be made payable to Middletown Unified School District or MUSD. Our current rate is $4.79 per square foot for residential and $.78 for commercial.
  4. Please be sure that the APN numbers on the project drawings and the county permit application match.

We do not charge for covered porches or garages.  

If you are rebuilding a home that was burned by the Valley Fire you may be entitled to a credit.  Please call our business office for more details. 707.987.4100
