Interested persons desiring information regarding filing for School and Special District
elective offices on the November 3, 2026, General Election ballot must file during the filing
period from July 13 to August 7, 2026. For a list of offices up for election, visit the Lake
County Registrar of Voters website at:

A Candidate Election Calendar/Handbook detailing deadlines, candidate filing requirements,
and election processes for the November 5, 2024 General Election is also available on our
website.

Official Declaration of Candidacy forms for eligible candidates desiring to file may be
obtained from the Lake County Registrar of Voters office in person at 325 N Forbes Street,
Lakeport, CA 95453 during regular office hours of 8:00 am to 5:00 pm. Monday through
Friday; closed County holidays and weekends.
